IC RULES (R1)
This can be found framed in every room and in the "Rules" tab of characters' personal identification devices! Any attempts to move or damage the frames are unsuccessful, they're bolted on there tight.
Dear Boys and Girls, the following are the conditions of your stay through the duration of this experiment. Please ensure you read them in full, ideally more than once.
1. Test Subjects will live within the facility for an indeterminate amount of time. They may live as they see fit within the limits of the experiment, and staff will provide for their needs to the best of their ability and patience.
2. While the ocean outside will give you little indication, for the sake of your mental state and circadian rhythm, the facility will automatically keep to a natural standard cycle of day and night hours. Between the hours of 22:00 and 8:00, the outer lights will darken and many of the lights within the facility will dim. Sleeping hours will not be enforced, but keeping to these hours is encouraged.
3. Test subjects may not sleep outside of the provided sleeping quarters. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a minor punishment of the on-site staff's choosing.
4. There are no restrictions on your actions within the facility as regards exploration and investigation. This space has been granted to you to go through as you see fit.
5. Violence against any member of staff will be met with unequal retribution, and not in the amount you would prefer. While amusing, please keep your head if you would like to keep your head.You will collectively be given one warning regarding this rule. I cannot promise it will be a harmless one.
6. Violence against other test subjects, however, is permitted without exception. By all means.
6-a. That being said, please maintain some sense of self-preservation and do not attempt to damage the windows. You will be damaged in return. While I understand the appeal of petty vandalism, and you are allowed to do whatever else you please with the space, don't be an imbecile.
7. If any of you wish to terminate the exercise on your end, all you must do is succeed in murdering another test subject and not being found out. The facility, having served its purpose, will take care of the rest.
8. The Professor, or on-site staff with permission from him, may add or remove rules from this list at any time.
