LOCATIONS (R2)
Welcome to the newest ship from Atlantic Liners, and get ready for an unforgettable New Years celebration! While the vessel may seem ordinary, we can assure you it is anything but! Our ship is laid out with very modern wood floors and accents. Just a lot of wood on the interiors. Any exterior decks feature non-slip tile and white cruise ship exterior walls!

JIMMY BUFFETT'S MARGARITAVILLE PRESENTS THE JIMMY BUFFET
A heavily-themed seafood eatery, for when you just want to live on island time for a day. Or every day. There's no indication who sets out the food, and it's matched to whatever the current meal is! Breakfast in the morning, lunch around noon, dinner in the evening, and just a random scattering of things if it's 3am and you want a snack. There are non-seafood options, but... they're not ideal, in taste or in look. Despite the name, uh. The best you can get is a virgin margarita. No alcohol. Have fun with that!
Congrats, you've all unlocked the BAR! An animatronic, semi-self-aware Jimmy Buffett is here to tend bar and listen to your worries - feel free to give the mods a holler if you want to thread with him, but it's not mandatory for, well, anything! He won't step in directly, but will discourage underage or grossly excessive drinking in the bar itself.
PARTY ZONE
Welcome to the party, pal! A wide open space with fancy chandeliers and a lot of tables and chairs. It's all set up to help ring in the New Year! Literally, it says all over the place in here that it's New Years Eve. Lots of party poppers around if you want to launch some confetti.
LIVING QUARTERS
See the Room Assignments post here!

DECKS
On either side of this part of the ship are cutaway portions exposed to the sea air, where you can bask on rows of lounge chairs without the full sun of the top deck! All rooms, however, are fully enclosed.
GYM
For when you gotta get swole while on the sea! A pretty standard room full of mundane exercise equipment appropriate to the 90s or so - nothing too fancy or hi-tech, but there's a treadmill and some bikes and a lot of big heavy weights!
VENDING MACHINE(S)
A room full of vending machines offering both normal vending machine goods (snacks, candy, sodas) and less normal (memorial New Years Eve cruise t-shirts, office supplies). No tech or weapons are available, just the sort of things you might find in an airport newsstand or corner store. Luckily for all of you, someone has set everything to "FREE" and is, against all financial odds, keeping things stocked as you need them!
In one corner, however, sits a nondescript grey vending machine, definitely out of place. It's the only thing in here that needs any kind of currency, and it only seems to take... whatever those coins are that show up in your rooms. It has a... strange aura.
LIBRARY
It's not particularly impressive, but if you want to read during your voyage then this is the place for you! The offerings tend heavily towards fiction, particularly a robust selection in the paperback thriller and romance novels department, but with some digging you can find light nonfiction reading, particularly on wars or the ocean. Feel free to grab something and relax by the pool! Well, one of the pools, if you can get to them.
THEATRE
What cruise ship wouldn't have one? Maybe Carrot Top is here! INITIALLY LOCKED.

X-TREEM TEEN ZONE
The decor in this area is very, as the kids might call it, Cringe. But there are some ping-pong and foosball tables, and a TV with one working channel that plays constant 80s and 90s music videos, and just a powerful number of bean bag chairs. Also a... single communal skateboard?
As of Week 4, there's a karaoke machine in here! It plays any song you want from the 90s or before.
ART ROOM
Finally, a place to unleash your inner artist, for better or for worse! It's set up more like a workshop than anything, with one workstation at one end where an instructor might display an example, and then a line of workstations for others to use. A closet in the back is full of any kind of visual art supply you might reasonably want or need! Paints and sharp brushes, clay and sturdy wire to cut it... you know, art stuff!
CRAFTS ROOM
Okay, so it's... mostly a sewing room, but! Set up very similarly, this should make for a fantastic place to supply yourself with new clothes, if you don't mind the vast majority of the fabrics available being floral and/or covered in birds. If you aren't a pro at sewing, patterns are provided exclusively for shorts and button-up short-sleeve shirts. Island time, baby!
LOUNGE
A central lounge area connects the three rooms on this side with a sea of comfortable chairs and sturdy tables. Not a whole lot else to find here, honestly!

RESTROOMS
For doing, you know. Restroom things.
LAZER TAG
A sort of "alien desert planet"-themed lazer tag arena! It's fully autonomous and functional in terms of starting games and keeping score, and comes with equipment for everyone who wants to play - you could even all group up into multiple teams, or just battle royale it out!
CAFE
Still no alcohol, but if you're in the mood for a coffee drink (Proudly serving Starbucks coffee!!) or something sweet, this is the place for you. Also some light sandwiches, if you want a break from seafood.
FIRST AID
A pretty basic area with medication and bandages and things like that. Nothing life-saving or hospital quality, but enough to get the job done out on the sea.

SAUNA/SNOW ROOM
Do you want to experience Temperatures? Because there's nowhere quite like this sauna connected to a below-freezing room full of simulated snow to get that! This is a real thing on some cruise ships! The doors are... suspiciously easy to block, if you wanted to stick someone in there. Especially the snow room. The changing room includes all necessary outfits for either room, and control panels for both!
RESTROOM
Look at that! There's a toilet in there.
SPA
Well, there are no attendants here, but there are facilities for all kinds of Spa Things. Hot baths with any kind of salt you can imagine, aromatherapy, manicure or pedicure stuff... welcome to the Self-Care Zone.

ICE CREAM PARLOR
An old-timey themed place for all your ice cream needs! A tremendous number of flavors are available, and even more on the massive wall of frozen yogurt nozzles, with a library-style sliding ladder to access even more flavors above. Also comes with the facilities and supplies for milkshakes, ice cream sandwiches, whatever you want!
RESTROOMS
Two of them!
SKATING RINK
A fully-functional ice skating rink, that you can, well, ice skate on! There are skates for everyone, and uh... well, if you can ignore the elevator shaft in the middle, it's a very normal ice skating rink!

ARCADE
Good news, guys, DDR is here! As are a ton of other arcade games - you want it and it doesn't fourthwall any franchises in-game? You got it! Even very expensive and elaborate games. Your ID even stores and tracks your points - though it seems to use a made-up currency called JackBucks?
LOUNGE/RESTROOMS
A very fancy lounge, complete with a piano that, every once in a while, plays itself! Classical music almost entirely, but also sometimes covers of early 21st century pop songs? Especially Taylor Swift?
BOWLING ALLEY
Now this is a fancy joint! Far from the "terrible nachos" type of bowling alley, this place is classy and full of leather seating and elegant design. Never mind a lot of that leather is... yellow?

MOVIE THEATER
Good news, we got movies! Sort of. There's a solid little collection - lots of action and romantic comedy films you've never heard of in a DVD stack by a player in the back - and also, when not in use, the screen cycles between (probably) super untrue trivia games about Captain Jack!
Also, even on DVDs you find and bring yourself, every movie starts with the Hyperion logo and Captain Jack himself providing the sound of... well, himself roaring.
SUPPLY ROOM
A very function-first... large closet, basically, full of cleaning supplies and spare linens and... you know, supply closet things. As a heads up, there is no evidence to investigate for in here.
HYPERION CORPORATE CAFE
A surprisingly obnoxious yellow room with robot arms that are happy to prepare you sandwiches, wraps, burgers, and other general American lunch/dinner foods! Also, finally, you can get pancakes and non-seafood breakfasts.

MINI-GOLF
A full 26(?)-hole miniature golf course! Compete for fun or for Jackbucks! It's very neon, and very... themed after all of you, both living and dead? Literally, every hole is themed after one of you or where you come from, in alphabetical order.
CASINO
This room's theme, meanwhile, is much clearer: Handsome Jack. The machines still take Jackbucks, so the stakes are.... Low, but there are slot machines and automatic roulette and even some tables for poker and other card games, should you be interested!
PRIZE ROOM
Oh hey, something to do with all your Jackbucks! Tired of vending machine junk? Have a wide range of arcade-tier prize trade-in junk!

MIRROR MAZE
Hey, you guys like fun houses? There's a fun house maze in here! It's... straightforward is a weird word to use for something like this, but it's definitely not more complicated than that.
MCDONALDS
Literally just a McDonalds, from menu to decor to cheap-looking restrooms to... everything else.
PLAY PLACE
This is the single largest adult-sized McDonalds Playplace you have ever seen. A massive ball pit, tubes, slides, ropes... this place has it all. Make sure not to get stuck in there, Flayn!

WORKSHOP
You want tools? You want to do some woodworking? You want to commit a violent murder with a table saw? Have we got the room for you! It's set up like the art and craft rooms, with multiple workstations.
KITCHEN
Less a traditional kitchen and more a "food workshop," this room features rows of kitchen workstations and a bunch of assorted ingredients! Finally, a food source that lets you make your own, for better or for worse!

AQUARIUM
This whole section is one big aquarium. There are multiple sections, but the place is chock-a-block full of fish and fish-adjacent animals. All the tanks are pretty securely sealed (and, tragically, there are no seals), except for uh. The shark tank. No points for guessing why!

"PUB"
It's... close to a pub? It definitely smells like one, albeit one from like the 1800s or so. The actual bar part is relatively small, this is honestly mostly a billiards room. Or there's a dartboard in the corner? And don't forget the jukebox!
ARMORY
Okay, this is a little silly. There's signs this used to be... maybe a souvenir shop? There are still glass cases and racks and the like, but the place has instead been filled with all manner of weaponry! It ranges from swords and axes to muskets to... well, it blessedly seems to stop short of just handing you a bunch of modern weaponry, but nothing in here is anything to sneeze at.
PHOTO LAB
Make some memories! Comes with a number of analog film cameras, ample space to display pictures, and a massive darkroom!

BUMPER CARS
Exactly what it says! A massive space full of bumper cars - 26 of them, to be exact. You guys are a little low on numbers to really take advantage of the space, though...
?????
A room that needs a purple key to open...

POOL/HOT TUB
It's a big ol' pool and hot tub! Like slightly oversized. Extra swimsuits are provided along with noodles and floaties and such, but if you want to change in privacy you'll have to either use a towel or leave and come back.

GO-KARTS
Oh. That's a full-on go-kart track. With fully functional go-karts. Who... who puts this on a cruise ship? Why are there multiple cruise ships with go-kart tracks??
ROLLER COASTER
Yup. A full roller coaster, at this time of year and this part of the Bermuda Triangle, located entirely on this cruise ship. It's not super intense or long, but there's a whole actual loop in there at one point, and it definitely holds its own against other roller coasters.

LAZY RIVER
In a slightly more normal-for-a-cruise-ship move, there's a lazy river here! A small shack (not pictured) can provide you with inner tubes for lazing about - and in case you're worried, the parts that jut out over the edge of the ship are enclosed! Each inner tube also comes with a switch if you want to make the bottom or all of that enclosure opaque for comfort purposes. You know, because this ship cares about your comfort.
GARDEN
It... definitely doesn't look super real or fancy, but there's a garden up here! Lots of flowerbeds, some trees, a little gazebo in the middle... honestly it's kind of picturesque! If you can get over the miles of ocean in any direction, that is.

SPORTS ZONE
An area with a bunch of different areas and equipment for sports, should that interest any of you! Tennis courts, a basketball court, and more - all state of the art and all pristine. And in the corner, well... the traditional field where arguments are settled! INFLATABLE JOUSTING!

WATER PARK
You want slides? You want fun? You want any weird amenity any water park has?? You got it! No investigation evidence here or anything, just fun splashing around and sliding away from your problems!
WAVE POOL
A standard wave pool. Welcome to the survivor pool, everyone! Nothing to investigate here either, but it's here and it's both covered and heated if you want to swim!
